OWASP AGHAST presented at OWASP Global AppSec EU Vienna 2026
Josh Grossman introduced the project in the Project Showcase lightning talks.
Project leader Josh Grossman introduced OWASP AGHAST at OWASP Global AppSec EU 2026 in Vienna, in a Project Showcase lightning talk titled “Introducing OWASP AGHAST: AI-Guided Hybrid Application Static Testing.”

The talk covered the idea at the heart of the project: generic scanners catch generic bugs, but miss the vulnerabilities that are specific to a particular organization. AGHAST combines static code discovery with AI-driven analysis to find those gaps — custom authorization logic, business-specific validation rules, and security patterns unique to your codebase.
